"We were absolutely delighted with this fantastic property. A real joy to stay in an authentic well cared-for Spanish home, which has been tastefully furnished with good quality fittings and all mod-cons, extremely comfortable beds, modern TVs, wifi etc. As an English family, we were pleased to find a kettle and coffee machine in the kitchen, two spacious fridges, a good oven and generally fairly well equipped for self catering. BBQ too. Rosa the hostess/owner was hugely warm, generous and helpful and despite her limited English and our limited Spanish we managed to communicate well on arrival. She was also very quick to sort out any issues - the water went off at one point and she had someone round to fix it almost immediately. Our teenage boys enjoyed the table tennis and tennis court and outdoor space (too cold in April to swim however!) and its within easy reach of several interesting places of interest (Carmona, Seville, Cordoba - even Ronda) which we much enjoyed visiting. The local town Marchena is also charming and had everything we needed, including an excellent Mercadona supermarket. Highly recommend. What a treat it was to stay here! Thank you Rosa and family."

"Our stay was impacted by wet and cold weather, but as a base for visiting the main cities in Andalusia it is excellent. The owners are VERY friendly and helpful, attending to a couple of electrical issues very quickly. On a hot summer evening the pool would be wonderful. "

"Strong stench of drains/damp in the en suite throughout stay. Smell leaked into main bedroom. Room beneath en suite is very damp. Owner knew about this but said nothing. Lead picture is of grass leading to terrace. There is no grass just mud and weedsThe pool was 3/4 full of dirty water with thick band of green algaeLock for the patio doors was seized, key for property got stuck in the lockRemote control for the gates only worked 50% of timeThe TV in the lounge is damaged with thick band down the middle of screenThe shower screen in the bathroom not sealedRain water drips into sun roomMany light fittings don't workBroadband not secure, wifi only in 2 rooms.Contacted property manager on return. No refund offered as we had not contacted owner. Owner spoke no English, we spoke no Spanish. Smell is caused by structural problem which could not have been fixed during stay. No details of the issues were disputed. Manager just blamed us, and took no responsibility. "

"The biggest disappointment was interaction with the host. We never met him/her and all communication was via phone call or watts app. Arrival was confusing as we did not know it involved a key safe. There was no information pack. Whilst the accommodation was spotlessly clean a number of things could’ve been better. Missing light bulbs, inability to close double bedroom door (had to prop a chair against it to obtain privacy.) The pool could’ve been cleaner and equipment to help with this was piled behind a bush. Overall whilst we enjoyed our stay these elements caused us some frustrations. Overall rating adequate."
