"Great location to visit walled city. Easy walk with lots of restaurants along the way. A bit hidden to get to. Make sure you get email with entrance codes. Parking is not on premise. We were there on Saturday afternoon and Sunday night so we parked on the streets near by. Still a bit of a walk. The rooms were great. Pretty much self service, but the manager was quick to response by What’s Ap. Price for room definitely a bargain. Breakfast was adequate. Vey clean though. "

Maybe I’ve been staying in more upscale or fancier hotels but everything was just right here. Very clean, beautiful, tranquil and vibe was just great. "The house is well-decorated, very clean, and home-like. The bathroom was clean (the small bathroom was separate from the shower and washing room) and I loved the airy feel of the hardwood floors. The dining room where we brunch was also welcoming. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They offered us a discount for tickets to see the castle. The breakfast served at the bed and breakfast daily is excellent and seems to consist of delicious homemade bread and other baked goods, a small tasty...

"Had a lovely stay at La Betyna. Leila and Pasqal were great hosts, they provided restaurants and shopping recommendations in the Old City of Carcassone which is about 10-minute drive from hotel. Within walking distance theres the Chateau de Pennautier a winery-restaurants definitely worth a visit. Look forward to another stay at La Betyna."

"An absolute gem. The Villa is very well appointed with custom finishes and furniture made by the hosts (their profession). It’s private, safe and a stone’s throw from the market for easy food shopping and all the necessities provided for home cooking. We stayed a week and did day trips in all directions. Coming home to the refreshing pool was a cherry on top. Anne and her family, including their very friendly dog, were welcoming and delightful. This is a special place and gets 5 stars on all...

"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "
