"It was the perfect location for me and my wife very clean two minute walk to the beach. I can’t wait till I do it again."
"We loved every minute of our stay here and look forward to one day returning. Owner and property manager very friendly and accommodating to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend if staying here to rent car for short drives to the other locations around island for activities. Being near airport was not big deal we live just as near one where we are from and actually went down to do some plane spotting from awesome point."
"The house was extremely difficult to find and the instructions could have been much easier. However, once we had spoken to the owner and found the house keeper, everything was perfect. The house is very close to all amenities and had an amazing view and a beautifully clean private pool. The house was spotless and everything worked. There was no air conditioning but this was not a problem for us because it was not too hot. Inside the house it is silent, but outside there is alot of road noise. The beautiful views and a private staircase to the promenade which even has a beach were particularly lovely touches.Thank you."

"Carolina was a great host! The place was clean and so peaceful up on the mountain side near the airport. Under 30 min drive to the main trails or Funchal. The only downside is the roads leading up to the property were quite steep and narrow-you definitely have to be a decent driver. Cannot wait to stay there again. "
