In the end, only a staff could lock our room every time we left.. The furnishings were interesting and attractive, but there was red mold around the sink, up to 2 inches high, in the bathroom. "Kinda dated. Carpets could be cleaned. Breakfast was lacking. Pool room was really hot and humid. Rooms where nice could use a deep clean more often."

"Young men working the desk are helpful, attentive and nice. The guy who seems to be the manager is not very helpful. Says that housekeeping is out today- understandable that happens. The issue is that during a two week stay, the room was NEVER once cleaned or vacuumed, no bedding or towels washed or even swapped out. That lack of attention makes every other small flaw, which there are many, stand out. WiFi is slow & weak signal, which alone probably wouldn’t generate my review."

"This is a unique experience, the mansion is so beautiful, peaceful and full of history, Suites are wonderful. Claudia is a fantastic Host, taking care of the minimal details during your stay. Coffee, tea and wine for your welcome at the twin saloons and good music to relax and enjoy. There is a refrigerator is you need to store something cold. Breakfast was delicious, well done and presented. We would love to go back to enjoy the experience."
