"The front desk staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and welcoming . Real coffee mugs and glasses are a nice touch . The restaurant in the parking lot is excellent . The bed was comfy with lots of pillows . I will go out of my way to stay here on the next trip . This hotel is a very good value ."

"This hotel dates from 1912. It has been beautifully redone maintaining a lot of the original charm but modernizing for those of us in the 21st century. Our room was spectacular. Wonderful views, super comfortable bed. Everything was just as nice as it could be. Next time in Hood River will probably stay there again"

"Great stay... A nice cool room with plenty of space and a comfy bed. My only comment, and it's a minor thing, was that the room didn't smell as fresh as it could have. I assume it was because maybe it hadn't been stayed in recently or simply because of the proximity to the river."
