"Listing description is accurate. Nicely outfitted with welcome treats, coffee pods, kitchen tools, and private parking. Your legs will be more toned after a few days on account of the stairs. Wisteria in the back garden was in bloom, lovely. Located right on the High Street so a short walk to all shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, etc. Supermarket was very close by for groceries. The house is set well back from the tree-lined road so it's quiet. Occasional noise of neighbours in their unit but nothing disruptive... it's an old house, part of the charm of staying in Tenterden. Enjoyed our stay, as we used it as a home base to explore castles and other historical attractions in the area. "

"Super house, with a great history - all 550 years of it! Car Park at rear for guests. Rod is a super host and cooks a nice English breakfast every morning. We stayed in the twin, corner bedroom with separate bathroom. Very comfortable beds and bedding, nice room. All very clean and comfortable. Tea & Coffee available in the room and bottle of water. Information file in the room, gives a history of the house, garden and interesting places to see/visit in area and beyond. Also information re: restaurants, pubs and taxi firms. Tenterden is a nice place with mostly independent shops along the High Street, pubs and restaurants. All a very short walk from Little Dane Court. Note: book taxi in advance because they get very booked up at the weekend. "

"Staff was VERY helpful. There was a problem with the reservation through Expedia, only one bed in out room rather than two. They ended up giving us a second room free of charge. Really accommodating. Also free parking!"

"Everything about our stay could not be faulted. Friendly reception on arrival. Told all we needed to know straight away and made to feel very welcome. Separate restaurants as we had our dogs with us and we were the only ones in ours but still were treated very attentively. Good varied menu with several specials on offer. Prices are reasonable and on par with others offering a similar service. Breakfast was a limited offering but still very good. The character of the hotel is everything. It is an ultimately an old farm building after all and it is everything you would hope for. Modern where it needs to be but still retaining its heritage. "

"Lovely pub in a great location. Rooms are very comfortable and everything is high quality, including toiletries and teas / coffees. Staff are very friendly and parking is a bonus. "

"I stayed at Amanda and Andrew’s gorgeous Oast House with my husband and dog and only wish we could have stayed longer. They have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable and welcome. Lots of detail and a lovely welcome gift. Ideal for travelling with our dog with a fully enclosed, secluded garden, bowls, spare leads and throws for the sofa. The oast is absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed. The surrounding area was perfect for dog walks and Rye and Tenderten were great places to visit. Hope to be back at some point"

"This is a lovely place to stay. Stuart greeted us on arrival and the Loft was warm and cosy with everything we needed including a basket of treats and eggs for breakfast. There are lovely views of the grounds and countryside. Nice walks from the property and Rye is close by car. Would thoroughly recommend. "

"Carol was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome upon arrival. We got to pat one of her adorable dogs and see cute sheep out the window every day. Lovely place to stay if you like quiet and a rural location! Some of the roads close to the cottage are one way just to bare in mind and we had deer crossing where the woods are one night (which we were very excited to see!), so please drive carefully. Cottage was nicely decorated and comfortable, and with a smart TV which was an added bonus! Will definitely recommend to family and friends :) Thank you so much for a lovely stay! :) "
