"Real comfy place to stay. Full kitchens with all the utensils and cups and pans, so you can bring your own food and cook. Log burning fireplace for a real fire in the cabins. Grounds needed to be cleaned up, but I guess the resort just reopened to the public after housing ski resort employees. Those employees need to clean better, the gal the runs the place was completely overwhelmed and I felt sorry for her. "

"We couldn't have been happier with our decision to stay at Marilyn's beautiful cabin in Tavern Bay! The 3 bedrooms, all with comfortable Queen beds, allowed each of our 3 couples the privacy when they needed it. Of course we also love the ease of checking in, the well stocked kitchen, and San Clemente in general. Seems to us that SC is a little less touristy than beach towns north and south. "Very clean well kept property. Furniture shown in listing for family area is different from what is actually there. And what was there wasn’t as comfortable as what was in the pictures. Everything you would need was provided. Bedding was lovely. Bathroom was downstairs to both bedrooms and stairs were very steep."

"Overall, this day was OK. It would have been nice to have firewood upon arrival and a few extra towels. The shower curtain was also put on wrong and it did get the floor very wet so we had to use wet towels we had to dry the floor. The toilet also has issues flushing. It takes several several minutes for it to fill back up to be able to flush again."
