"The room was clean, comfortable and warm with lots of space. We particularly liked the sitting area. The room was exceptionally quiet and we slept very well. The restaurant was slightly disappointing in terms of the quality of the food. We also feel that it should have been made clear that the pricing of the drinks and the food didn’t include VAT - which resulted in a hefty additional final charge. The hotel was in a great location, close to the ferry and with secure parking."

"The chalet we stayed in was really nice, clean and comfy. Unfortunately the walls are not sound proofed and you can hear your neighbors very clearly. There was also no bar or breakfast facilities when we stayed. Having said that I would definitely stay again if I was in the area."

"Hotel very clean room spacious and comfortable, bed a bit soft however personal opinion and still slept well, robe, slippers in room, tea and coffee making facilities with assorted teas and biscuits and complimentary bottled water. didn’t have breakfast but had evening meal, it was delicious and price very reasonable, location of hotel could not be better, harbour and train station across the road. Complimentary 30 minute steam and sauna, with two heated loungers, foot spa was not working but made use of the others, we indulged in massage and afternoon tea for two, ultimate in luxury massage tailored to our needs and afternoon tea takes account of dietary requirements, we were left to enjoy the afternoon with no rush in the comfortable lounge. The staff were really friendly with Summer and Hayden given special mention."
