"Traveling with a service dog, I was denied entry by the receptionist. Would not accept that my dog was entitled to access even though I produced the service dog identification.I explained the motel was liable for a for a $10,000 fine, and had to threaten to call the police.
Finally she called the manager, who thankfully sorted things out.
Was not a good experience for a suffer of PTSD.
When loading the car to depart at 6 am, i was locked out, as was another guest. There is no access to the rooms from outside until 7am. After a wait of approx 45 minutes another guest was leaving and I was able to get back in .
I will not be staying at Ibis again."
