A Central Florida hidden gem (but let's keep it that way) is Kelly Park. #Trovember Fed by the Rock Springs Run, the park is the perfect natural lazy river. You can rent tubes outside the park, but spend a few bucks and bring your own flotation. There are several pavilions to use, if they aren't reserved, but also lots of shady spots. The trails around the area are wonderful, and there is always the playground if the kids get bored of the water and beach. Best to go when kids are in school because the park fills by 10am during the summer. It is a perfect getaway from Orlando city life.

"Our hotel stay was amazing. Check in and parking were easy and quick, the staff were courteous and helpful, and our room was upgraded to one with a balcony. The pool and gym were clean and maintained well, and the food was delicious! My daughter said breakfast and dinner were her favorite part.
