Walt Disney World Dolphin

"The Disney Dolphin Resort is a beautiful property with an excellent location, especially if you plan to spend a lot of time at EPCOT. The resort itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and has plenty of amenities. One of the biggest advantages is its proximity to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, which makes it very convenient for exploring that part of Disney World. Transportation to the Magic Kingdom, however, was a little more complicated than we expected. The bus does not take you directly to Magic Kingdom. Instead, you are taken to the Ticket and Transportation Center, where you then have to take the monorail or ferry over to Magic Kingdom. Another option is to walk over to the Boardwalk Resort or the Beach Club/Yacht Club resorts and use their Disney buses to get to Magic Kingdom. While there are options, it isn't quite as convenient as staying at a Disney-owned resort with direct transportation. Although the Dolphin is beautiful, this was our first time staying at a resort that isn't actually Disney owned, and we definitely noticed a difference. The staff did not seem quite as accommodating or friendly as the staff we have experienced at Disney owned resorts. We also missed some of the personalized Disney touches that make staying at a Disney resort feel special."

"It is a very nice but expensive vacation. If traveling with a large family, multiple families, or a large group it can be affordable. I would recommend having your own snacks and beverages because they are pricey with gratuity added on every purchase. It was a wonderful stay enjoyed by all."
