A Central Florida hidden gem (but let's keep it that way) is Kelly Park. #Trovember Fed by the Rock Springs Run, the park is the perfect natural lazy river. You can rent tubes outside the park, but spend a few bucks and bring your own flotation. There are several pavilions to use, if they aren't reserved, but also lots of shady spots. The trails around the area are wonderful, and there is always the playground if the kids get bored of the water and beach. Best to go when kids are in school because the park fills by 10am during the summer. It is a perfect getaway from Orlando city life.

"My best friend and I stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the breakfast and kickback as well as the amazing staff who ran both! The hotel was clean and quiet even though it's extremely family friendly. The shuttle service to the park was fantastic. The walk to Disney springs is about 10 minutes and we felt very safe "
