"This is an older hotel that has been updated, is clean, has a nice outdoor gazebo area with barbeque grills and seating, plenty of free parking, and offers a small menu of made-to-order hot breakfast that is provided to hotel guests. The staff greets you with a smile. I'm looking for these qualities in an overnight stay, so this location was a win for me. If you want a spa stay with all the add ons like a pool, jacuzzi, weight room, etc., you will not find it here, so don't set yourself up to be unhappy. The hotel is located away from the freeway, so no freeway noise, but there are trains that run across from the hotel. You'll hear the rumble of them as they go by, but I heard not one train horn while I was there, and train traffic seems to slow down at night. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The check in clerk was very helpful. We arrived early, actually earlier than i thought due to a tome change. The clerk couldn't che k us in as the rooms were still being cleaned. I explained that we had to be somewhere and wouldn't be back for a few hours, yei i didn't want a second floor room as there is no elevator and my husband cannot carry our things up the stairs She said she would see what she could do and sure enough when we got back to check in a few hours later, she did accommodate me. And, there was a different clerk by this time yet the previous clerk had already done her magic. We were very grateful for her staying true to her word even though she would be gone by the time we got back. "

"Love this place! Beautiful setting, quiet, peaceful. Lots of birds. House is lovely, fully furnished. Comfy bed, full kitchen. Easy access to Chiricahua, a must see. Johnny Ringo's grave is less than a mile away, check it out. Rob & Sharon are wonderful hosts! Very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and history. And great to talk to. Everything was great. We will definitely return!"

"The guest suite at the Crossed J Ranch was the ideal place to stay for our Memorial Day weekend getaway to the Chiricahua National Monument and surrounding area. The studio was quite spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The hosts were wonderful and had the place stocked with a dozen fresh eggs, butter, filtered water, condiments, spices, etc. Staying on a working ranch was a truly delightful and unique experience. We enjoyed learning about the history of the area and seeing a bit of it in the "mini museum" right on the ranch. We also loved watching the birds, wild turkeys, and cows, and stars from the front porch of the guest house. Unless you are camping, you really can't stay any closer to Chiricahua NM as it's just a few minutes drive from the park entrance. If you want to get away from it all and don't mind packing meals for the duration of your stay, I highly recommend staying here. We certainly look forward to returning."

"We chose this property because it was close to two hikes we wanted to do at Ft Bowie and Chiricauchua. Willcox is right down the road. It was the ideal spot for what we needed. Clean, comfortable and a great place to relax. "

"The royal tents are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The facility has good food, beer and wine. Also a coffee shop. Convenient location for visiting Willcox area wineries and for day trips to Chiricahua National Monument, Fort Bowie Historical Site, Bisbee, and Douglas. Will definitely return."
