The location probably explains why, as it is deep inside a slum neighborhood with only dirt roads and lots of mud puddles. We then ended up staying at Hôtel MENABE'L, which is normally a cheaper hotel. We still had to pay the price for Bira Hotel, which was 50% higher than the listed price on Hôtel MENABE'L.
