"The owners are so kind, friendly, and thoughtful! I stayed here the night before the eclipse, and because they knew people wanted to leave early the next day to beat the eclipse traffic, they moved up the start of breakfast (poached eggs and bacon hash, yum!) an hour. The hotel is beautiful and has wonderful views of the surroundings, including the lake, from windows. There is a nice loop around the lake that can be done, and hiking trails nearby. "We were the commercial- 4 friends needed a place to stay before a retreat in Hancock , NH. This spacious, immaculately clean 4 bedroom, 2 bath (actually 2apartments) was just what we needed! Comfortable couches and beds, beautiful appliances, and a before bed hot tub! It was perfect for our needs. Host was immediately available for a minor issue. Appreciated the great renovation of this old farmhouse and the labelling of all drawers and light switches."
