"If you are looking to stay in one of the loveliest homes in a beautiful setting, this is for you. We were treated so well by Sara and Dom. they could not have done enough for us, certainly over and above anything we have experienced before when renting a villa. The historical property is surrounded by Orange and Lemon groves in a peaceful and tranquil setting. We had various grandchildren and family staying a different times and there was something for all ages, ours are between 3 and 23 years. There is table tennis, beach tennis, games room with so much to entertain including a pool table! It was difficult to get the tennagers to go out as they were just happy lounging around the lovely pool and playing the various sports there! As mentioned before our hosts were so kind and helpful, even to the point where Sara booked and took us and three of the youngest children pony trekking herself!! When we arrived, not only did Dom meet us nearby to help guide us to the the house but various and very welcome supplies were in place, which was lovely. I cannot say how much we enjoyed our stay (a whole month) at this lovely villa. A tranquil home to say in with everything you could want. Plus, the town of Vera is 5 mins away! Perfect. Thanks Sara and Dom. We will certainly be returning."

"We had a great stay here, lovely views and perfect for what we needed. A couple of things are a little dated but its not a problem. All linen and towels provided so we didnt need to bring our own beach towels which was a bonus. Check in and out was simple and communications with Carina were good. Thank you"

"Wake up to birds singing and breakfast on comfortable chairs on the covered veranda amongst the many olive and orange trees. There's a secluded garden area with plenty of cushioned sunbeds and the whole, large garden is fenced in which meant our dogs could have a wander. It was lovely to watch the horses being exercised at the riding school just across the adjoining field and the garden area is bigger than it appears in photos so a pleasant surprise. Inside there's everything we needed from a well-furnished kitchen to 2 large wardrobes with cupboards. Stuff we normally bring for self catering wasn't needed as this house had everything - from a magnify bathroom mirror, to extension leads to shoe horn! The kitchen utensil drawer was full and even included a potato masher!..plus the house is cosy with heating if you need it. We'd just missed watching their harvest but benefitted from a supply of freshly produced olive oil and you can pick oranges and pomegranates directly from the trees. Freshly laid eggs are available from Michael & Pirrko's (friendly) chickens. We stayed in November so didn't swim but the pool is very pretty with a shallow walk-in end ideal for families and there were plenty of cushioned sunbeds. You need a car but once in it, local shops & Vera town are 5 mins, beach 12mins, nearest golf course 10 mins. Overall this accomodation was perfect for our 3&half week stay with hosts Michael and Pirrko being good fun but also very respectful of our privacy."

"Great hotel with easy access to the beach and a variety of bars and restaurants nearby. The facilities are in fairly good shape. Entertainment is provided daily by the staff. Dining options within the hotel are plenty with a cafeteria and a buffet that works for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I tried the breakfast and dinner buffet and both were pretty good. "

"We stayed here with out 2 teenager and had the best time. Elaine was the perfect host and always on call should I need anything. You will need a car as everything is a short drive away but so much to do! We did horse riding, wakeboarding and kayaking in between chilling by the pool. Desert Springs has a club house and the croc bar - both serve yummy food and both have entertainment. Loved our holiday and loved the area! Would highly recommend!!"
