"The rooms and hotel are quintessentially Scottish! Every inch of the property makes you feel like you have stepped back in time. The breakfast room serves perfect country breakfasts and the restaurant next door is high end fabulous and worth the price. Every member of the staff, both in the hotel and restaurant, was extremely friendly and helpful. This is a family owned hotel where every detail is focused on the guests. Wish we could have stayed at this hotel a bit longer."

"Lovely and cosy and a 5 minute drive to Linlithgow which was really handy for us. A bit of a hairy narrow road to reach the lodge and the parking wasn't that straightforward but being set in woodland, you can't really expect anything else. The only other down side was there is no gate on the veranda which meant our dog couldn't go out without her lead on. The lodge had everything we needed for our stay, the beds were very comfortable and warm and the underfloor heating was a joy."
