"There is no A/C or even electric fan . Our room was warm even we opened the windows. We even had to open our door to get air in. Otherwise everything is ok. Walking distance to town. Breakfast was good"

"I only stayed the one evening but the location was perfect for the train station and for walking around the lovely town of Villach. The hotel had a relaxed feel to it and all the staff I encountered at reception at breakfast etc were very friendly, helpful and professional. The room allocated was spacious, comfortable and clean. Coffee / tea making facilities were provided. The hotel Also provided a laundry and an iron board if required. The breakfast provided was very nice with hot and cold options available. The only adverse comment I would make was when I asked if I could have an extended check out of 1 hour only I was going to be charged €15. I declined. I would definitely stay in the hotel again if visiting Villach. Thank you"

"Loved it! This hotel is expensive, but I believe it offers great value. It’s luxurious without being pretentious, and I appreciate the fact that they do not charge you for every little thing, but rather include almost everything in the price. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Wonderfully welcoming small family owned and managed hotel. Gregor and his father are so friendly and helpful as are all the staff. We were given room 5 for our 3 night stay which with very large with a separate living area and balcony with a view of the mountains. Decor and furniture are fairly simply but feels quite homely and most importantly bed was very comfortable. Bathrooms, though, appear to have been recently modernised and we had a walk in shower. Everywhere is clean and tidy. Good buffet breakfast is included with cooked to order eggs, if you want them. There is on site parking both outside and in the underground garage and even a small fitness room. The location is just a 5 min walk to bars and restaurants in the small village centre. Excellent place to stay."
