"We stayed for 9 days, as we wanted to immerse ourselves in the charming town of Dingle. The home was even more lovely and comfortable than we expected and in the perfect location. The store keepers next-door were so friendly and helpful, as was Shelly the manager. The house is elegantly simple without too much clutter, all the necessary amenities, and great local details, such as locally-made wool blankets and bathroom products. We found the products in a nearby store, and I took some home....

"Meg and Mike were fantastic hosts. Scones and jam was a very welcome touch. Communication from hosts was easy and quick. Free range eggs, bread, jam, butter and milk was generously supplied. Vases of flowers placed around added to the beautiful space. Decor was superb. The Sanctuary was clean, comfortable and a peaceful space I’d rate it all as 10/10. Lovely chats were enjoyed with Meg and Mike, with helpful tips re sightseeing and places to eat. Would highly recommend The Sanctuary. "

"Great house, great views, loved the sheep. Only issue is house was described (and shown in map) as being very close to Tralee when in reality it is about 45 minutes from Tralee. That meant we faced a fair amount more driving than we expected. Otherwise, all was good."
