"Very nice bed & breakfast with our own bathroom connected to the room. Rooms are a little on the small side but comfortable. It was a cold, rainy day & when we asked about the heat we were told it was off for the summer but hostess graciously turned it on so that we could get warmed up. "We loved it! The host was so nice. Our room was amazing. It was clean, comfortable and really pretty. In our room there was a private bathroom. The view from our room was also breathtaking! Breakfast was good and there were many options. We didn't have a car but it was okay. Tom the taxi driver was very helpful and drove us to Oughterard and back where we could hop on a bus! If you don't have a car please plan your trip carefully. This guesthouse was definitely worth visiting! We recommend it....

"We were in Ireland visiting family when we got stuck in Drogheda late. We called the hotel to see if they could help us out since we simply couldn't get to Galway that night. The hotel was very rude and didn't do much to help us with the problem. I understand having cancellation policies, but this one seems to strict. I went online and it was clear the hotel didn't lose out on a reservation since they still had vacancies. Oh well. "

"When I booked this hotel, I was so excited to see it in person. The Dean did not disappoint in all areas. Upon arrival, the front desk staff (I didn't get their names) shared the best things about Galway, how to access them and engaged in a conversation that made you feel like you were a guest in their home. The amenities were outstanding and the design and function were clearly evident. We ate dinner at Sophie's our first night and the food did not disappoint neither did the view. I would HIGHLY suggest this hotel and want to give kudo's to the lovely young lady and gentleman that checked us in. "
