Overall this place was exactly what you want while staying on AMI. Close to Pine Ave, wonderful pool, and all the essential amenities. There was construction on the property, but it was communicated well before our stay and the foreman for the construction crew was very pleasant and let us know on the days they would be a working close to our unit. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location

This was a nice place to stay for the Christmas weekend. We were in walking distance to the beach and several shops and restaurants. It was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. I would stay here again.

Great location and very clean!

This was our second time staying at the Sunrise Garden and we would return without hesitation! Great location being close to many restaurants and stores. The pool was great and stocked with towels every day. The room was clean and had all the basics supplied. Definitely recommend going!

Perfection!

The cottage was so cute and quaint, very clean, the beds very comfortable, the location was absolutely perfect to beaches, food, shopping. Believe it or not, the shower was literally the best shower I've ever been in! Thanks for the great stay!

Nothing overwhelming here: a clean, comfortable place with a community pool, and good location. Short walk to the bay, a longer walk to the beach. One block to Pine Ave for ice cream, restaurants, and shops. A nice place to stay on Anna Maria.l

First Time in AMI

This location is PERFECT! We were able to walk to the Bayfront beach or the gulf-side. Very close to pine Ave and all the main restaurants. We rented a golf cart which was fun but you could definitely get around easily just walking. Bed was comfy enough and nice accomodations

Perfect Location. Beautiful Landscaping and Pool.

This home had just the right amount of space for the five of us. The pool area is gorgeous. The condo is a little sparse, but fits the needs for a convenient space to stay. We were close to the beach and shopping. Also within a few blocks of the free tram. Sheets for the pull out couch would have been nice, but that's the only complaint I would have.

Clean, friendly staff, would pick a different place next time

It was a great place to stay. It was nice and clean, the heated pool Was the highlight for our kids. Walking distance from lots of places to eat and the beach. Originally we booked a single house but got relocated last minute. The downside was that we could hear the people next door loud and clear. I don’t mind hearing talking and normal sounds, but it was unpleasant hearing neighbors having sex all hours of the night and day while in a vacation with children.

Outstanding!

Upon arrival at Sunrise Garden, we noticed the beautiful colors, exotic tropical plants, and the cuteness of the hotel. Our hearts were immediately at ease. The room was overly comfortable with modern furnishings, a very nice bed, and a precious kitchenette. There were days we barely wanted to leave the room once we were sun kissed. The resort is walking distance to the delicious restaurant The Waterfront and the City Pier, which I recommend both. We were walking distance to ice cream, shops, food, the general store, etc. I couldn’t have been more sad to leave at the end of our stay. We also overly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend Sunrise Garden. The staff was friendly and Vacasa was a pleasure to work with! We look forward to our return. Thank you!

February stay

Great reasonably priced rental with a little space from crowds! It was nice only have 10-14 condos on the grounds and the shared pool was never too crowded. It’s 1.5 block walk to Tampa bay but 10 min (1/2 mile) walk straight the other way to get to the beach/gulf side. Property management was my very responsive. Called about a few things that were suppose to be in our condo, including the parking pass, and was told they would bring it all the next day. Unfortunately, no one ever came but we made it work. If you are traveling with your family, just be aware although it sleeps 4+ there is not adequate silverware for 4 people (2 forks, 3 spoons). Bring some plastic utensils. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and it was an easy getaway!

It does the job

The house/condo is spacious enough for the price. The furniture was nice. However, the unit smelled horribly of mold/mildew. It must have been in a flood and not restored appropriately. I have never given a bad review, truly ever but for the sake of someone else, i would want them to know this ahead of time. I do have to wash every piece of clothing, clean or dirty due to the VERY STRONG smell. We may throw out our luggage because we cant clean those. If you want to save some money on a place to stay, this is it, but prepare to have absolutely everything smell or mildew/mold. Also if have health or allergy issues this would not be a safe place to be.

Sunrise Garden #8

The condo was conveniently located steps away from the bay side of Anna Maria. We enjoyed walking to the cool beans coffee shop and the Waterfront restaurant. There is also a convent store/ice cream shop just a block away. We felt the walk to the beach was far (15min) for carrying a cooler and beach gear, so we decided to drive to the beach access. We parked at the Sandbar valet parking lot. They offered 2 hrs complimentary and then any longer than that there was a $20 an hr fee; $45 max. The Condo had everything we needed. Laundry is shared and located behind the condos; you could walk out the back door to the laundry. The pool area was clean with tropical plants all around. Our only complaints is the sofa was very uncomfortable to sit on the cushions were flat, and the guests staying there did not park in their designated parking lot # so we were having to park in someone else's spot. Overall I would book here again. The price was perfect for September.

Decent Stay

The site was as advertised. Clean on the inside, so those cleaners did a great job. The area around the pool was neglected and when we tried to inquire with the office staff no one was there despite it being during the office hours (10a - 4p). The walls are incredibly thin and pur neighbors were very argumentative which was obnoxious in the evenings. A group of young adult men were drinking and jumping in the pool at 4am. We had to call the police, bit they were super responsive and got it taken care of. The management company took our TV as soon as we arrived, but to their credit, they refunded us some money for the loss of amenity. Would normally not care, but sunset at 6pm does make for a long evening with no living room television. In any case, the location was good and our stay was fine, just a few hiccups that made it less than ideal.
