With the exception of the kid who was behind the front desk the night of 10/4 and the younger breakfast lady, the staff was pleasant & helpful. Someone was smoking in their room on the night of 10/4 and the hallway was really smelly & smokey. The kid at the front desk didn't seem too interested in finding the smoker(s) & asking them to stop.

My room was very clean, quiet and comfortable so no complaints there. However, the pool and surrounding area was dirty, there were no towels on the shelf (even though another swimmer said she had requested some an hour earlier) and the breakfast was just sad for a Hampton Inn. It was a tiny, crowded area and poorly stocked.

This Hampton Inn is very nice, in great shape and clean. My room was little on the small side but very nice, clean and an excellent bed. The pool was clean and a good temperature. Breakfast was the usual free fare, fine but nothing exceptional. This hotel and several others are just two minutes off of I 94. Easy in and out when traveling on a schedule. Rate was very reasonable on a week night and an off week. Like everything around Ann Arbor the rates are much higher during football season and holidays.
