Welcome to this white wooden cottage in Stora Kilane within walking distance of lake Ånimmen in the beautiful nature of Dalsland. The house is bright and comfortably furnished and is for active nature lovers the ideal starting point for many excursions. After a long day you can enjoy a cozy evening on the cozy sofa with board games and refreshments. In the morning go to the terrace with a cup of coffee. Afterwards you can go on a fishing trip and experience the dreamlike tranquility.

Outdoor activities in Dalsland, the picturesque province of 1,000 lakes, are a must. The very special landscape invites you to paddle, fish, hike and swim. Maybe you will see a moose? Lake Ånimmen with Henriksholm Island is part of the Dalsland Canal lake system together with Lake Ärr. Explore the hilly nature reserve Sörknatten. Here the altitude varies from 50 to 142 meters above sea level. The almost bare ridges are often called "knattar" in Swedish. Did you know that a large part of the movie ?Ronja Rövardotter? was filmed around the mountain Sörknatten? This is where she uttered her famous spring scream. Of course, Lake Vänern is also a great place for a full-day excursion.
