"This boat sails up and down the river part of the year and is at a dock the rest of the year as a hotel. It was great - rooms are small, as to be expected on a boat/ship, but were very clean. Rooms on one side have a really nice view of the water. There's a nice lounge area as well as the dining room. Breakfast was fantastic. Not really walking distance from the city, but staff were friendly and helpful and told us where we could park. Highly recommend."

(indoor pool, hot-tub, different saunas, steam rooms etc.) Property needs some renovations for the rooms (very outdated and worn out) AND an Air Conditioner! It's not okay to put in a tiny little fan to keep the warm air around?! I mostly enjoyed my stay (because I know this hotel/restaurant) but I would not recommend to family and friends. "The beds were a little hard but we like softer beds. The pillows were a little flat. Room was decent We ate at their restaurant and the food was very good and the beer cold. The front desk was very friendly and nice, although her English was limited but we got by just fine. Wifi was decent. Overall, it was a nice place."

"Maybe it's not the Paris-Hilton, but when you sleep good, you eat good and you have hundreds of square miles to cross (Dübener Heide) by foot, bike or car ... There is nothing to complain. Friendly people and lots of rest were the reason we spent twice as much time as planned."
