"The hotel has great decor, good food and provided a relaxing stay. However on our last night we accidentally left a pair of Oakley sunglasses on our table. There was a real lack of interest from staff to locate these. For a small hotel and as the only guests left in the restaurant it seems unlikely they could have disappeared without a trace. Very disappointing response from staff and management. "

"I stayed in this home with my spouse, two daughters (6 and 9), and brother in law for about 5 days. Each of the 3 bedroom have their own sink/shower and the sleeping arrangements worked out perfectly. It truly is a 5 minute walk to the local beach where there are a couple of restaurants and options for surf lessons. There’s a bus stop just outside the house gate for the 12 bus, which runs to Biarritz (about 30 minutes), as well as a local grocery shop (7 minutes on the bus). Our kids took surf lessons at Biarritz - there were several businesses who all seemed to run similarly. They loved it. Francois, the owner, was incredibly responsive and welcoming. She provided all of the information we needed for the home as well as the local area (e.g., restaurants). We had full access to the on site pool and the kids had the best time. We used the kitchen daily for cooking easy breakfast and making coffee. The nearby market was just a few stops away on the bus. There is a washing machine (no dryer), but drying racks are provided. My one minor nit was the floors could use a quick sweep/mop, but I imagine that’s a non-stop challenge given the proximity to the beach. The outdoor area was beautiful and very well maintained. Francois’ little dog, Volt, was adorable too. We would gladly stay here again. "
"The only downside is that this hotel and the 2 others nearby, are primarily for people who need to get an early flight or (possibly) arrive late at the airport and need a place to stay until the morning. As such there’s a lot of movement and sounds of people packing and unpacking in the early hours. I would have benefitted from a quieter night as we had a fairly early start. We were on the ground floor and guests above us on the first floor weren't quiet."
