"We have fond memories of staying in this unique little house near the river. The inside decor was unique and clever. We loved hearing the town's church bells chime 7:00am...and a few minutes later we could see boats floating right past our window. We enjoyed watching river activities from the large 2nd floor deck. Elsa and Fillippe were incredible hosts. We were welcomed with a vase of flowers cut from their yard, pastries and wine. We asked Elsa to recommend a local restaurant one night - and...

"Gaia is across the river from Porto; a short ride to downtown but away from the throngs of tourists. The beach and beach restaurants are a five minute walk from the house. Joaquim was a wonderful host and the accommodations felt like a five star hotel. we would definitely stay here again."

"Hemos pasado una semana Fantástica. La ubicación estupenda, la anfitriona maravillosa. La casa tiene absolutamente de todo. Sólo hemos echado de menos el aire acondicionado, pero con la fantástica piscina se mejora mucho. Esperamos poder repetir"
