"Very clean, quiet and well presented property. Perfect for my preferences. Just a short car ride to all the island activities. Automobile required as location is suburban."
"Loved Our Stay at Mammaloes B&B!
This place is full of charm and warmth. Our room was cozy and comfortable, and we loved having a little patio to enjoy breakfast. The whole property feels peaceful and full of character, with thoughtful details everywhere. The hosts were kind and gave great tips for exploring the area. We honestly didn’t want to leave and would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Overall, this place was perfect for us! It's like the poolhouse off of the main house, it has a loft with a king bed and a pull out on the bottom floor. We ended up camping out on the pull out because it does get a little stuffy upstairs, but Sophie said she would rectify that. She also supplies a fan up there. There is only one television in there, on the bottom floor. She supplied towels and toilet paper, but after you run out you get your own (Sophie looked out for us though). She also booked our activities for us, giving us detailed directions on where to go and suggesting things for us. The kitchenette is outside, come prepared with more than bug spray (the mosquitoes tore my legs up, we use vicks vapor rub on our faces to keep the little gnats away) although Sophie does also supply that as well. The pool is usable from 9a to 7p (it is directly behind the main house). They let us alone during our usage. Our only quelms were out of Sophie's control, the bugs lol so annoying when trying to cook!! But the fridge outside kept our food extra cold, and Sophie has a cooler for you to get ice. The power goes out on the island sometime but we didn't feel it because Sophie has a generator! We will definitely be back!"
Wayaca Retreat: 4BR 3BA, Private pool, renovated, close to beaches, quiet area.
10/10 Excellent
"My stay was so amazing! Arde was so helpful with the questions I had. The property so nice and clean. The area was so peaceful and it was exactly how it was pictured and the getaway I needed for myself."
"If you want to create more of your own experience in Aruba rather than staying within a big resort hotel, this is the perfect place! We had a car and it was very easy to find the hotel and park. It was nice to be away from the main tourist area, but still felt very safe. Maud is a *wonderful* host and communicated everything clearly via text and was immediately responsive to any questions we had or additional cleaning requests.
The rooms are like small apartments and it was a lovely place to come back to in the heat of the afternoon, for example for a dip in the pool or to rest in the air conditioning in a separate living room area from the bedroom.
The area is very quiet at night and the rooms include beach chairs and extra towels to take with you, which was also really helpful.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would 100% stay here next time we go to Aruba. You can get day passes to the resort hotels if you want to go to a spa or something similar, but this seemed the perfect way to have your own space in a small and very quiet property and still be within short drives of all of the beaches, restaurants etc where there is plenty of parking. It is closest to Arashi Beach and we actually found we enjoyed this location more than Eagle/Palm for a lovely place to chill out and watch the sunset.
A lovely base to relax and explore all of Aruba rather than just the main tourist strip. Get a car and go to the many varied beaches rather than just the main ones!
