Fun little island to explore & get away from it all.
On the SW shore of Anderson Island, this quaint nature trail through the woods ends at the beach near Carlson's Cove. While they're very worn from wear, along short stretches of trail you can still pick out logs arranged on the trail in the form of "skid road," "corduroy," and "puncheon," which are examples of historic road surfaces.
