"I wanted a place in the mountains and Schwand Gusthaus delivered. Woke up to a scene out of a movie. Tall mountains, green pastures and tinkling bells on cows. Myelie and Patrick are great hosts. We had dinner in their restaurant one night. Excellent food! I am planning to stay here again this winter. It is a shared bathroom situation so if that is an issue look elsewhere. Beds were very comfortable. And Engelberg is a lovely little town. "

"This is a wonderful property and the photos on line do not do justice as the house is so much more beautiful and spacious. We were a group of 15 enjoying skiing in Engelberg and the house fit us to perfection. John was absolutely marvellous helping us in any way necessary we cannot be thankful enough.
