"My husband and I were looking for a place to spend a week working remotely that was in the countryside but still accessible to Munich. This apartment was well suited for that as it had an excellent desk. The location is absolutely perfect - right on the lake with a gorgeous view. We ate most of our meals on the balcony and it was set up perfectly with umbrellas and beautiful flowers. "Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in der "Sommerfrische" in Dießen. Chris ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und wir wurden mit einem Strauß Maiglöcken aus ihrem Paradiesgarten, leckerer Schoki und Getränken begrüßt. Die Zimmer sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und Küche und Bad sind geräumig und lassen keine Wünsche offen. Vom Schlafzimmer aus kann man sogar aufs gegenüberliegende Kloster Andechs schauen. Wir konnten die große Dachterasse und den Balkon mit Blick in den idyllischen Garten...

"Happy with hotel in every respect, except that there weren’t many good restaurants in the near vicinity of the hotel. ‘Cooking Yu’ (Chinese) was an exception and we had a great meal there. Fratelli (Italian) at the end of the street was also nice but was very small and the night we went had ‘run out of pasta’, so we had to have pizzas."
