"We stayed on Friday in the till room , myself hubby and daughter we had a pleasant stay the room was perfect , a lucky find for us ,the customer service recieved was outstanding staff pleasant and approachable , compliment's also to the chef for a lovely breakfast also , no complaints ,we hope to return soon . Highly recommend everyone to visit who’s looking for a relaxing break ."

"We had a great stay here recently. We stayed in Room 4 which is a tad unusual as it has no window in the main area. There is a window in the bathroom so you can have natural light provided the door is open. Not a problem for us tbh as the room was completely dark overnight. The room is quite basic with a small TV and a double bed (at home we have a king size, so it was smaller than we are used to). It was spotlessly clean. We had a good meal in the bar, a couple of drinks which was competitively priced. Service was excellent and friendly. Pooch was made welcome too. Breakfast was also really good although the sausage was a little bland and at odds with the quality of the bacon and black pudding. Once again our dog was allowed in the restaurant area too. So to conclude: an excellent stopover that is very dog friendly, lovely staff, good food and a reasonably comfy room all for £75. We would stay again when in the area. Thanks "

"Beautiful hotel, very clean and comfortable. Delicious food both breakfast and dinner. All staff were clean and smartly dressed and were very friendly and helpful. The dining room staff were very attentive and never let you feel forgotten about or missed out. A very relaxing stay. "

"Great location, lovely room, great bedding and towels. We were on the first floor of Coble Cottage, adjacent to the Inn. Bathroom layout was ok but a bit more thought could have improved it by having a longer shower tray (the full length of the wall), the toilet next to it and the hand basin at the door end (the door was at an angle which made the toilet feel cramped). Reasonable breakfast choice but would have liked a broader range of fresh fruit - only apple chunks and pineapple chunks to have with the yoghurt. Good cooked selection, various breads for toasting, mini croissants and pain au chocolat. I would definitely recommend and would stay again."
