"Hotel is great. Clean, modern, very good breakfast. Only negative is if you land at the airport during rush hour. The shuttle took 50 mins to travel a 10 minute drive."

"Wonderful hotel with great history. Rooms were large, clean and quiet. Food served in the dining areas was excellent and the pisco sours made every meal better. We ate on terrace 3 nights and meals were all memorable. Internet service was good. In my opinion, the Gran Hotel Bolivar was good experience and great value."

"good location if you know your way around and dont want to be far from the airport, if you are a non Spanish speaker then ask for tips from the owner as she is biligual. I think its a good deal and the earthquake that I lived through on the 4th floor didn't really bother me much as the property can handle an 8. There is no elevator but the location provided me with what I needed and make sure to check your reservation as they are some rooms that have a shared bathroom. The staff is very helpful and friendly."
