The beds are comfortable and it is perfect for a family of 4. All modern appliances plus a dryer for after washing clothes which was very helpful. "This is an impeccably renovated village house, and well equipped. Ideal for two, very private & overlooked only by goats and the occasional inquisitive eagle flying overhead. "Nice rustic experience with all the modern conveniences. The village and everyone in it were super pleasant and welcomed us in with open arms. The house (old olive mill) was very impressive and has many balconies and decks to sit and relax. I recommend if you want to stay out of the hustle of the city have a quiet time then this is the place."

The decoration is peaceful with charming personal touches. Milatos Beach, with its tavernas along the front, including one run by Kostas’ family, has more the laid back feel of the villages on the south coast. Julienne ist sehr freundlich, die Übergabe der Schlüssel hat perfekt geklappt. Gern hätten wir die wunderschöne Windmühle mit dem kleinen Garten mehr zum Entspannen, Lesen usw. genutzt. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in Heraklion sind fußläufig zu erreichen und selbst Knossos ist nur etwa 8-10 km entfernt. Weiter Ziele z. B. im Süden, Westen, Südwesten sind nur mit Mietwagen zu erreichen bzw. man holt vorher Erkundigungen ein zum ausgebauten Bus-Linienverkehr.
