"The Stanley Hotel is a very beautiful hotel with fantastic views from the rooftop restaurant and pool. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Transportation options are easily available. Good shopping and eating options are in walking distance. Konstantina at the front desk provided exceptional service. Other employees also offered excellent service. The breakfast buffet that we paid for was delicious, with many choices."

"The Athens Gate was an excellent choice for us. Superb location - right near the Acropolis and the Plaka. The views from the rooftop restaurant were amazing! Breakfast was good, many selections. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. Our original flight was cancelled and we came in to Athens 17 hours later than expected. They made sure our room was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. We were able to eat breakfast, take a shower and grab a little nap. Then we went out to see some of the sights we had missed the previous day. Definitely recommend this hotel, whether you’re in Athens for an extended vacation or if you’re transferring to the cruise port."

"A short comfortable night before a flight. There is no coffee or kettle in the room (or upon request) but they filled my thermos for our next morning following early departure. If you don’t have a thermos or coffee you’re sol. Because we missed breakfast, they packed us one to go. Very nice of them. The restaurant looks great but we ate elsewhere."
