The rooms were clean and well stocked Really liked that real coffee cups, nice. The grounds are gorgeous . Loved all the little nooks of patio chairs and benches around the property. Only thing is is, it isn’t designed for someone that depends on a walker or wheelchair. It wasn’t impossible, just difficult.

The inn is a favorite of mine for respite. My dog really likes it too. Large well-kept grounds off the main road, wildlife and a view of the harbor. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are great.

Some good, some not so good. Good: lovely setting and water view, very clean, country setting but only 3 miles from excellent restaurants and charming Anacortes. The shower pressure was fantastic and temperature easy to manipulate with the cute retro handle. Not so good: Continental breakfast was limited because the waffle iron would not get hot enough to cook waffles - they were soggy, wet, and runny cold in the middle. Worst of all when we asked for help working the TV owner was extremely rude, said he didn’t want to be disturbed, and said the TV only worked if we pushed the buttons on the box. Why there were remote on the TV table … and no instructions… his rudeness soured the evening a bit.
