"This house has a lot of history and reminded me and my wife of our childhood. Very clean and organized! Appreciate the hosts for there efforts in making us welcome. We would recommend this location to anyone and would come back if the opportunity presents itself in the future. The only one negative thing we would say was that the showers did not have great water pressure. I would recommend the shower heads be replaced. "

"One of our most pleasant booking experiences. This home was immaculate, well appointed and very tastefully decorated. We felt like we were guests in someone's home versus staying in a rental. Sitting on the front porch watching the morning sun sparkle on the river across the way couldn't be beat. All and all this was a 5 out of 5. Many thanks to our host!"

"The views are beautiful. We loved the big wrap around porch and utilized it most of the time. It does have a hillside to get to the firepit which might make it difficult for some. The kids of all ages had a great weekend together. There are many spices to accommodate any meal. It was a much needed family weekend!"

"We wanted a peaceful getaway and that’s what got at the Buck Shack. We were a short drive with breathtaking views and landscapes. We enjoyed a campfire with s’mores at night. Enjoyed the sound of nature and birds singing. Had excellent communication with host and most everything we needed when we arrived. The indoor decor is rustic and beautifully decorated with small accents and details. Highly recommend!☺️"

"We had a very nice stay with our 2 pups. Many of the necessities were thought of. A rug by the back door worked well for the dog’s bowls, or would be good for shoes.
