For solo traveler, this is a gem! Centrally located, comfortable bed, pleasant staff. Shared bathroom and washroom but it is not a negative factor at all. If I ever travel alone tk the Netherlands again, ill definitely stay here.

Me and my family enjoyed our stay at Quentin Arrive Hotel in Amsterdam. The location is super convenient — close to everything and easy to get around. Less than 10min walk to Amsterdam Central. The staff were genuinely courteous and very helpful, which made a big difference. They were always welcoming and ready to assist. Overall, a simple, comfortable place to stay — would definitely come back!

There were bed bugs, this was discovered by my 17 year old daughter and her 2 eighteen year old friends at 10pm, they called me and I asked them to pack up room and go to reception, I remained on FaceTime, reception immediately offered a refund without questions, and were in no way a help in securing alternative accommodation, nor were Expedia when I went on web chat, I did manage to secure alternative accommodation at a lot more cost, given short notice and the late time of night, as well as additional expense in Uber to get them there, my full refund was not even honoured even after chasing this with Expedia nor have I received my £50 key card credit that was promised as way of a goodwill gesture, shocking service

Hotel is in an excellent position. Cant praise the staff enough, anything we asked they went beyond and above for us. Our room was a decent size , not the cleanest room we ever been but not too bad and not bugs or any insects! Is a bit noisy too.

No working lift, so we had to climb up four flights of steep stairs each time we needed to go to our room. The room shown in the picture, was nothing like what we got. We might have asked for a basic room for three (no pictures were offered), however, we were stuffed into the basic room for two, the smallest beds and three grown women. It wasn't comfortable, the rooms amenities weren't functional and the amount of noise due to other people who used the shared bathroom was too loud, we had trouble sleeping.

I read the reviews and I must admit i was put off, however on arrival I was pleasantly surprised, this hotel is not 5* but it is well worth the money, it is clean and literally slap bang in the city centre and the staff are really helpful, it’s shabby but clean and safe so in my opinion it’s 5 star xx thanks for a great stay x

Checked into my room to find blood and drugs on the sheets with garbage on the floor. They show you a picture of a bathroom and a shower on the page but don’t tell you it’s not a part of the room but it’s down the hall and it’s communal. Would not recommend.

The room was small,even though I booked a double. Old dated, mould on window. Unable to open door due to laundry bags piled outside the door. No coffee/tea facilities at hotel and receptionist unable to direct me to a cafe. Unable to open window for fresh air due to the marijuana cafe across the street. The stairs to first floor are steep and very narrow. The shared toilet unfortunately was missed used by other guests. It was very noisey, this hotel would be ok if you planned to drink and smoke weed.
