This was a lovely place to stay, excellent location for being in and around all to do in Amritsar. Surprisingly quiet given the bustling location. Staff were very helpful, with them having a travel desk for arraning a trip to the border/

We could not check in this hotel, as the location was not reachable by car. We followed GPS google to follow the directions. There was heavy traffic jam and the streets were closed towards hotel address. We tried calling the hotel for help but there was no answer. After painful long hours in traffic jam at late night, we had to stay at a different hotel and canceled our reservation at One Earth GG Regency.

Reason for my 2 start being Firstly, getting out of the hotel was a hassle because there are no Uber or public taxis want to pick you up from that congested place. Secondly, the hotel's interior is extremely dark, which gives an eerie feeling of being inside a ship. The dim lighting and up and down stairs of floors made it difficult to feel comfortable and easy. ALso the dining hall being located in the basement was another downside. It felt unwelcoming and claustrophobic, Another significant issue was the lack of soundproofing. I could hear everything from the guests next door and anyone walking in the hallway, which disrupted my peace and quiet. One of the most disappointing aspects was the breakfast service. They didn't offer eggs, as they considered them a non-vegetarian option. The only postive I can think of the hotel was approximity to Harminder Sahib. One could walk to Darbar sahib in 8-10 minutes from the hotel.

This property is new and modern design with perfect use of space and very comfortable beds. The staff are so nice, even provided a staff to accompany our family to the golden temple and helped navigate the amazing visit and langar. It is really just 80 steps from the Golden Temple and walking distance to Jallianwalah Bagh. Their restaurant food was better than Kesar Da Dhaba. Would highly recommend this place!!

A very nice hotel based on the location ( steps from Golden Temple) The service levels were nice too. The travel desk is very helpful. We booked a trip to wagah and Karan who runs the travel desk was quite helpful. The car sent was clean and the driver Ajay was a pleasant guy. Our airport transfer too was booked via the travel desk and was timely. The rooms are basic, with a good AC ? Which was needed as it was quite hot when we visited in late July) I wouldn’t mind staying here again if the primary objective is to visit the temple, given the location. If you’re seeking luxury, this isn’t a place for you. The rooms are pretty basic but nice in my opinion. Overall Inhad a pleasant stay.

I like that its close to the golden temple. But the rooms smell bad, like cigarette smoke or urine. After threatening to leave, the staff moved us, multiple times, until we found a room that didnt smell. If it werent for the staff, we would have had a terrible time. I definitely dont recommend this hotel. Its not worth it.

Parking was very bad. Do not book this hotel if you are traveling in a car to this property. There is no easy way in and easy way out from this hotel. Rooms lacked basic amenities and cleanliness was average.

Non-co operative staff. Were not cordial providing navigation help. Kept calling the reception, nobody picked up. Upon reaching the manager was impolite & refused to connect.overall the whole experience was ruined because of him

The property is not as described. The location is very however, however the rooms are in poor condition. When I arrived it was not suitable for my family to stay there. We advised the staff that we would be moving to another hotel. They advised that we would need to pay for the first night, and that they would refund the following two nights. We all agreed that this was fair and reasonable given the time the booking was cancelled. The hotel however has not kept their word, and have not refunded the additional two nights as advised by their team, It is disappointing that they do not remain true to the commitment that they made.

I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel due to poor communication and service. Staff coordination was lacking—I had to repeat the same request to 2-3 people before anything was done. For example, I informed reception in both English and Punjabi that my family would leave at 7 am for the Golden Temple and requested housekeeping during our absence. Despite this, the rooms were untouched upon our return. I was told housekeeping only happens after 2 pm, even though I had informed them beforehand. On the next day, I spoke directly with the housekeeping team and was informed that housekeeping starts from 8am onwards. Very confusing that different staff gave different information. Room service was similarly disappointing. We ordered 2 coffees and 3 bottles of water at 11:30 am, but after waiting for an hour, my husband had to follow up at reception. The order was only expedited because a senior staff member intervened. Additionally, I asked to speak to the General Manager on my second day, but despite seeing him multiple times, he never approached me. This lack of accountability from management was frustrating, especially given the price. On the positive side, the hotel’s location is excellent—walking distance to the Golden Temple and shopping areas. It’s quiet, with a lovely terrace offering views of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. However, at $640 for four nights, I expected much better service. I regret not booking the Taj, where the experience would have likely matched the price.
