"Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location. Cosy and very comfortable. Ann couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasurable. Nothing was too much trouble. The views from the cottage were amazing. She also left lots of information regarding the cottage and surrounding area."

"Lovely staff, cosy room, great breakfast. The absence of a lift to upper floors might be a challenge. I wasn't expecting the stairs but did ok. The daft things were that the shower head needed de-scaling and there was nowhere to put soap or shampoo. But these things were minor. I would very happily go there again."

"The Slate was a beautiful B&B, the room was very comfortable. Bed was really comfy, quilt and pillows just perfect. Towels were so soft and fluffy, The food was lovely and the staff very helpful. Shout out for Rachel and Ashton, absolute gems and the proprietor should recognise the staff for their fab customer service. Parking was great and the ease of check in and check out couldn't have been any easier."

Nomi Rooms and Restaurant

"Clean compact room - accessed by a small staircase. The building is an old property in an elevated position and we had a great Seaview over the pier. We didn't stay for Breakfast but did eat in the restaurant which was good. All the parking spaces were taken by the time we arrived but there were spaces on the road leading to the pier car park so didn't cause an issue. I would stay again."

"We were surprised to find that guests have to pay an additional fee for parking. The building is quite old, so the ventilation wasn’t great and the room felt quite stuffy. Even though it was already the end of August, the room still felt quite warm and poorly ventilated. At night, there was also quite a lot of noise coming from the hotel kitchen downstairs, which was quite disturbing. Apart from these points, the staff were all very nice and friendly."

"Excellent location, wonderful view and comfy bed. Bathrooms recently renovated but the rooms and public areas could do with some refreshing. Breakfast was very good and fresh. Ate at the restaurant and this was also good. Staff helpful and friendly"
