"A friend and I spent a couple of days at Tangalooma Island Resort recently. Tangalooma is on Moreton Island which is off the coast of Brisbane. The Tangalooma Island Ferry is the normal means of transport to and from the island, about a 75 minute ride and it runs multiple times each day. The resort has many accommodation choices, many venues for food and drinks, and many options across a wide range of activities. In our case it was just unwinding for a couple of days, doing nothing much at all, and Tangalooma provided exactly what we were after. All the staff we came in contact with were friendly and helpful, and we'd like to say a special thank you to Dante from B&B's Bar, for his excellent service and always with a welcoming smile."

"PAR EXCELLENCE. Tranquil, welcoming, courteous staff and fine breakfast. This is my new favourite place. Hundreds of wallabies everywhere. Don't panic if you are a smoker as you are catered for quite fairly. Let me recommend the cabernet sauvignon at a value price. Someone at this place understands the meaning of good taste. We went in winter and the room temperature was perfect. Housekeeping and security were both extremely polite and efficient. All in all GENIUS. Highly recommended."
