"The physical setting is gorgeous, with up-close views of the blue lake and surrounding forested mountains. The buildings are dark brown and unobtrusive -- which suits the very rustic woodsy feel of the lakeshore setting. However, the inside decor is very modern, pleasing and comfortable. The units contain everything you might need (bedding, towels, kitchen implements.) Indoor fireplaces are pleasant, and electric barbecues on the porches/decks are very useful. Unfortunately, the outdoor pool was closed, as it was September (but still quite nice weather.) It is convenient to have Le Loch, a small lake-side restaurant on the propertyThere are no regular staff present, and some technical communication ability is needed, as you are provided at check-in time with a 6-digit code to get into your unit on a keypad. There is a gourmet store close near-by in the hamlet, for supplies and alcohol (SAQ). There is just one other local restaurant, Le Rustique, which is a good experience."
