"The hotel is magical - the staff super friendly. The decor elegant - remodel very well done - its very chic and not done in cheep way - the quality of toiletries and tea in room are high end - organic - wish we could stay here longer. The only thing to watch out for is check-in is closed from 12h-15h. The stairway up to the rooms is a bit narrow. Not a problem but just to be aware if you use oversized luggage. I would defiantly stay here again. "

"The bedroom was ok, but bathroom left a lot to be desired, less than a third of a toilet roll no spare, no glasses glass or plastic to clean your teeth, bath panel cracked, toilet needs a lot of bleach in it for it to be clean, soap dispenser in shower not working. Had a shower went from nice warm water to cold. Bed was comfortable and nice white towels. Room 4 right above the bar can be noisy would we stay again? No."

"We had a short stay at this cottage. It was well appointed, bright and the outside area is fantastic for relaxing. There are doors separating every room which makes it convenient for cutting down noise if you have multiple people staying there. The pub in Steeple Ashton was fantastic (The Longs). "This property was spotless and well equipped. It is a bit ‘off the beaten track’, but in a lovely location and within walking distance of an excellent village shop. There is another property adjoining this one. The provision of a swimming pool enhanced this property greatly. Although we only met the host, Helen, twice she was most pleasant and helpful. Would certainly recommend this accommodation if one is looking for peace and solitude and yet it is only about 5 miles from Romsey."
