Bargain for travel sports

The room was basic, but seemed clean. Very little toiletries provided.Could use a few more pillows. Suits our need for a place to stay for tournaments. Overall, it was a bargain compared to other places in the Richmond area.

In my opinion, the lobby area could be made a little brighter by the removal unnecessary debris and the repositioning of oversized plants.First impressions are so lasting. Nevertheless, my guest and I enjoyed our stay.

I found a couple of recording devices in the room which I removed. They looked like cell phone chargers without the cables. I was also told I needed to give them my full credit card number, experation and security code for the card used on Expedia. I refused and it wasn't pushed by the staff. Beds were u comfortable. The rooms looked ok but you can see where the remodeled was very sloppy.

Deceiving pictures

Pictures indicated breakfast would be served, but it was not. Parking lot doesnt accommodate for a trailer, so har to park down the hill from hotel.

Drive the extra miles for somewhere else

Non-working TV, no coffee in room or lobby and no breakfast (owner referred us to the McDonald's next door), sheets paper thin and had to beg for towels. Since it's the only motel within 30 miles they don't have to make an effort, and they don't.
