"The hotel sits on a big island in a small river, with the main river running on the one and a small creek on the other side. The bungalows with the rooms are scattered along the creek and the facilties such as reception, restaurant and yoga shala (also to be used as guest lounge, library and massage place) are sprinkled across a big garden with lots of flowers, fish and sea rose ponds. As the resort does not have any walls (the rooms have), it feels very generous and even bigger as it is. And...

"This lovely small hotel has 8 rooms, a great pool, and a small restaurant that has a limited with a very good cook. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to make your stay perfect for you. I highly recommend. Amed is a wonderful little divers village with real walk in snorkeling and good beach. "

"We stayed for only one night and this place was perfect as a stopover before taking the fast boat to Lombok. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the property was clean and tidy. As a bonus we had a meal the evening before we arrived and I had a “ monster burger” which you could tell was cooked with care and delicious. All that and breakfast thrown in ! Difficult to beat for the price and highly recommended."

"The owners as well as the property are gems and we enjoyed our stay here. The seaside restaurant has great food and a huge selection. Owners did a special barbecue night while we were there and their children performed a beautiful dance for us. I can't say enough about this quiet and serene environment. We enjoyed snorkelling off the beach in front of the resort. The pool was a delight and the intimacy of having only 8 suites made it so we could meet others and visit. There are onsite massages...

"This home stay is great value for money. You can sleep somewhere and even get breakfast if you need to stay somewhwere overnight waiting for boats for Gilies or so. You have to be on budget and to love this kind of culture in order to appreciate bathroom and lack of air in the room. On the positive side, it will be hard to get this kind of value for the money you paid. It is in central location, has beautifull terase and very friendly and pleasent host. "

"Stayed in Serena Villa with our 12 & 10yr olds. The pool was amazing and clean. The view of the ocean amazing. Italian restaurant lovely. Hired scooters and zoomed around. Used snorkling gear at beach infront of resort - loads to see. Used Fresh Fins Diving for couple of drift dives. Can’t wait to go back!"
