The rooms are old, the carpet is sticky and the bathroom needs to be renovated hot water dripping out of the bathtub faucet, but, it was a fun spot to stay with dogs. Lots of kids having fun was also nice to see with indoor pool. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Property is dated, carpets are frayed everywhere and stained, bathroom had several patched tiles and mold under the grout. We loved our stay here, great services and amenities. The staff are amazing and helpful. We brought 3 large dogs with us and they of course loved them! This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and we will stay each time we pass through Texas, we love The Cactus Cove! The only negative thing I can say about this pet friendly hotel is they need an actual space for the dogs to go outside.

This was the perfect place to stay with children! There were so many amenities that it was easy to keep. Three year old busy and happy for many hours, so that daddy could sleep after driving all day.
