"Amazing place within steps of the beach. Great location. Fabulous breakfasts each morning overlooking the sea. The staff was amazing. Recommend you hire a porter in advance to get your bags to and from the hotel. There are a lot of steps and it's a long way to a "main" roadway. "

"The best view of Positano buildings. Very beautiful. Has private section where you can walk down stairs to the main beach. You can also use those stairs to get to hotel faster from the main square. On the upper portion you can walk down to a coffee/ pastry spot where they had great Iced coffee and continue on to main square. Total of about 10-15 min walk down "

"Tramonto D’Oro is truly a special hotel. My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon, and we splurged and got the largest suite with a beautiful balcony, and the views were worth every penny. Between the fabulous and clean room and impeccable service (with incredibly kind and happy staff), this place has a wonderful breakfast and lovely restaurant that services a nice dinner (which was a little pricy). In addition, there’s two different bus stations that can take you right into Positano, however, they can be a bit tough to navigate and the taxis are very expensive. "

"The hotel is clean and well maintained and very centrally located. Check-in was hassle free and we received a phone call an hour after we arrived to make sure we were comfortable. Our room was well maintained with a tasteful and minimal Mediterranean aesthetic. I love that every room has a balcony and jaw dropping view. The staff here are the stars of the show. For breakfast the buffet is excellent and one of the servers, Eleanora was absolutely exceptional. She is kind and sweet and does everything with a smile and efficiency. I also had dinner at the restaurant and our server, Giuseppe, really gave a 5 star dining experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the caliber of food and service in the restaurant. "

"Amazing hotel and staff. Delicious restaurant and their breakfast great too.They are super helpful they arranged our taxi services to Naples. Thank God this place has a porter to help with the luggage. Those who have stayed in Positano known how hard it is to walk down and up stairs with luggage. We stayed in the ocean view with a balcony room and it was beautiful! I would definitely stay here again."
