Staff was very friendly and helpful! Rooms were great, but the shower in our bathroom would leak out on the floor a little. We enjoyed the balcony on our floor #2😊

We stayed 9 nights in this extraordinary hotel in the heart of Lisbon. First, this 35 room hotel has been entirely restored to its original Art Deco form, including cork floors in the room, beautiful marquetry floors in the lobby, elegant furniture and art work in the lobby and bar. Great location! Close to shopping, restaurants and right in the heart of Lisbon

We stayed for 2 days after our cruise. We arrive early. Front desk was welcoming and offered us an available room. We declined and said we’d wait for our reserved room on the upper floor. We toured Lisbon and returned to Lumen in the mid afternoon. Here’s when the service was exceptional. Front desk was friendly; offered us breakfast at 10 euros and a 30% restaurant discount. Our experience at this Vila was amazing from the moment we walked through the door. We were sat at the front desk and given orange juice while we waited to be checked in. The costumer service is amazing and everyone treated us like royalty. After checking in we were given a tour of the hotel which was beautiful and breathtaking (the photos online do not do this hotel justice). Hotel is in the prime location, lot of restaurants and bars in walking distance. Staffs were amazing.

this hotel was perfect in every way , excellent location very clean and modern rooms in a 300 year old building . our room looked over a very busy street with a view of the famous arch . the street lined with restaurants was noisy with the window open but once closed we could not hear anything . very nice breakfast and the front desk people were very helpful and freindly . will stay here next visit

I loved the hotel, simple with comfy bed. The location is great, across the street is a hub for all the tours, downtown is less than a mile walk down nice street with expensive stores. The downtown is 20 min by walk, nice and quiet. There is a little market where you can get water , there is a refrigerator. Shopping mall 10 min walk on one street. If you are looking for a comfy bed, this is the place, taxi to airport at 3am 18 euro, regular time 10-15 euro, 15 -20 min ride
