"This place was so lovely! Everyone was extremely helpful and always went out of their way to assist. Great property. The room which was not newly renovated was absolutely authentic and exactly what we imagined it would be for New Orleans. Loved it all!"

"For the most part we enjoyed our stay here. Our room was clean, the staff was very sweet and helpful, and the bed and pillows were VERY comfortable! Also, the air conditioning worked very well, the location was awesome (close to everything), and the shower head was AMAZING!!!!!! Now for the not-so-good...the street noise is very loud here! Loud people walking by, loud cars, and just general noise happened all night, every night. Of course, our room was right next to the street. Also, the TV was very glitchy. Finally, what they advertise as a "King" bed is not actually a king-sized bed - it was a queen. We inquired about that, and the desk lady said that's just what they call it and that all the rooms have the same size. Not sure if we would stay here again - we would probably try another hotel outside the French Quarter. Overall, it was slightly more positive than negative."

"Liked the staff, friendliness, helpfulness; the room and both restaurants. Only drawback was cold shower thurs. morning about 10a.m. Wife had taken shower, then I took mine and after 10 seconds warm water turned cold and could not get warm. Would repeat, all the staff we dealt with were great. Cold shower only dislike."
