"My sister and I really enjoyed our stay in Kirkmichael. Hannah and Miles were perfect hosts, and the cottage was very clean/cozy and in a very convenient location. We were able to do many day trips to surrounding areas. Great location if you want to visit Pitlochry, Blair Athol, Braemar, and/or other areas within Perthshire. Wonderful hiking trails from the town that vary in length/time that range in difficulty from easy to strenuous. We also highly recommend The Cabin for a meal or two...

Broughty Ferry is a great town, beautiful beach, lots of shops to browse and fab pubs and restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here if you want a chilled few days."

"The Servants quarters was a perfect spot for us to stay while visiting for the Highland Games. We cooked our own meals in the well equipped kitchen and avoided the lines downtown. Clean and beautifully decorated and an easy walk to the recreation grounds, downtown, and the Festival Theater."

"Cottage is in a lovely quiet location and is very well equipped- beds are very coverage too. I didn’t have much communication from the hosts as didn’t need it- only downside was getting told off for putting the radiators on. I couldn’t get the towels dry overnight for a shower the next day- weather was too wet to hand them out and they wouldn’t dry in the cottage."

"Good communication with John and easy check in on arrival. Unfortunately, we caught the tail end of a raging storm so weather didn’t allow us to use the patio and massive grassed garden as much as we would have liked but family still enjoyed break here very much. Tremendous heat from the Aga was a wee bit overwhelming but at least it allowed us to dry our hot tub towels very easily! Would return here again."
