"What a place to stay at Garvault House! It's literally in the middle of nowhere, no light pollution and views of pure wilderness for miles around- amazing location. Food provided was very tasty and dinner becomes a very social setting where everyone is on the dining table, although you can sit privately next door if you wished! Rooms could do with a bit of modernising albeit not too much to take away from the charm of this 'off grid' location. No TVs either, but WiFi and phone signal still good if that bothers you during your stay"

"This property is absolutely stunning. The views are spectacular and the house itself was clean and tidy. It is so well stocked, especially the kitchen, and the puzzles and dvds provided gave lots of entertainment We had a really lovely week here."

"The location of this property is lovely but a bit of the beaten track. It does feel like it starting to get a bit tired but also has loads of character. The evening meal was excellent and the breakfast was very good. Did have a wonderful nights sleep."

"Lovely clean & comfortable cottage in a peaceful relaxing location, 20 minutes walk from a nice clean beach, wildlife & walking in abundance. Tesco shopping delivery if required or around a 30 minute journey.We had good relaxing Holiday.😀"

"Just had a fantastic time in this remote Croft house in the snow wind with -4 temperatures the house is lovely and warm n cosy and has everything you need.We Stocked up at the supermarket in iInverness before we came and then relaxed and enjoyed the views of the rugged highlands in the warm with a nice meal and a glass of wine or beer just awsum.Great location for shooting and fishing and long beach walks with the dog.Tony and Diana"
